God's Plan... The Ultimate Plan
Updated: Jun 13, 2019
I KNOW God Has A Plan for My Life
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
To say God is without strategy, is to say He’s not God. To validate my statement, let’s go back to the beginning, the first book of the Bible, Genesis. God strategically planned all of creation over a six-day period. If He took that much interest in creating the universe as we know it, first laying the foundation followed by the creation of man.; it would only seem fitting to create us just as strategically. The only noticeable difference in this process of creation is that He gave us, “man” dominion over everything. Suffice it to say, we can surmise from the beginning there was a plan in place, implemented using strategy.
To this, there are two more well-known scriptures I’d like to reference, and they are “Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” The other is Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, [and] I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Both of these scriptures show us that God has a plan for each of our lives. Plans that were determined long before He placed us in our mother’s womb.
However, referring to Genesis, a time in which he also gave us “free-will” to make our own decisions. A decision of whether we would obey God and walk in His perfectly orchestrated will (plan) for our lives or disobey Him and endure the repercussions of our decisions. The beautiful thing about God’s plans for us, is they’re always in our best interest. Hence, the redemptive Blood of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, through whom we are placed back in right standing with God and able to pursue the perfect plan orchestrated by God from the beginning.
Yes, God has a good and perfect will for each of our lives. A plan that was established from the beginning. His desire is that we would seek Him, seek a relationship with Him and seek His will for our lives so we can live the abundant life that Jesus came that we might have.
Father, please forgive me for not believing you had a perfectly orchestrated plan and will for my life. I ask Jesus to be the Lord over my life and I ask the Holy Spirit to lead me into all that is truth and all that is right according to your will. Please remove all things in my life that are not in alignment with your will. Help me to accept these life adjustments that I may live the life you called me to live. May you be glorified in and through my life and may my life be a testament to your goodness and your promises. In Jesus Name. Amen.
